For those who are travelling by Metro Transit, you can catch a variety of buses on Spring Garden Road which is right outside the door. Merto transit buses will get you any where you wish to go in the Halifax Regional Municipality.

Full service grocery shopping at Sobey's or Atlantic Super Store can be accessed within a 10 to 15 minute walk, as well as movie rentals, choice of drug stores, flower & bake shops and restaurants, which offer everything from fine dining to take out foods.

The Victoria General Hospital on South Street is across just two minutes away. Academic pursuits can be fulfilled at Saint Mary's University, Dalhousie University or Kings College, all within easy walking distance.

The creative efforts of our city gardeners can be enjoyed at the historic Public Gardens on Spring Garden Road, a reminder of the slower paced Victorian era. History can also be relived at the world famous Halifax Citadel Hill, an 19th century British garrison which overlooks the city. The historic Halifax waterfront is a short 15 minute walk away from this centrally located building.

For cultural pursuits the city library on Spring Garden Road is close by, as well as the university libraries, Neptune Theatre on Argyle Street and the Rebecca Cohn on Dalhousie University Campus.
